Our sole purpose is to put together
a one day free educational Powwow
to benefit all children in the AISD
and neighboring I.S.D areas
and our community at large.

Great Promise for American Indians, Inc.
is the Parent Organization of
The Annual Austin Powwow and
American Indian Heritage Festival,
the primary event for our organization
to reach out to all our community.
Great Promise for American Indians, Inc.
is the sponsor of and funds
The Red Voices in the Schools.
For a week, preceding The Austin Powwow,
Nationally renowned American Indian Artists
are invited to the schools in
The Greater Austin Region
and teach the students about their
American Indian Cultures, Heritage,
Traditions, Talents and Crafts.

Also affiliated with Great Promise is
The Central Texas First Nation's Consortium
Native American Parents Committees;
organizations of parents and educators
working to help American Indian and Alaskan
Native Students in the Greater Austin Region.
The Organizations are officially recognized by;
The Austin Independent School District and
The Bastrop Independent School District,
and works closely with a support
group of community volunteers
to design programs that assist
American Indian and
Alaskan Native Youth.
